"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,

"MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me.

It is Mother's Day and
Mother I miss you
I miss your smile and the smell of cologne too
I miss the way we used to talk late at night
I miss the way we laughed to make things all right
I miss the winter nights
when we ate popcorn
I miss the summer breeze when at old Cape Horn
I miss the way you always said I love you
I miss the way that you knew I loved you too
But most of all I just miss
you being there
So Mother I'll say "God Bless You" in a prayer.
PS Mom I'm still writing poems and you'd like them
I think of you and Dad watching me, just like Him.

Mother's are not just Mom's
for you see
They are those who cared for you and me:
Mother's are something surreal
Like a person who means a great deal.
Mother's are all very
special, you know;
They can be everywhere you have to go.
They take you places
They smile, their faces
Are always ready to greet
you; And then
When you are sad they sympathize again.
They cheer you along
Understand your song.
They are the best, in the
East or the West
They help when they can, and stick with a plan
That manages still
To bring out your skill.
