""EVER WONDERED WHY YOU ARE UNHAPPY IN LIFE?""
----------------------------------------------
Innal-Hamdalillah was-Salaatu was-Salaamu 'Alaa
Rasoolillah
As-Salaamu 'Alaikum wa-raHmatullahi wa-barakaatuh
The subject title " Ever Wondered Why You Are Unhappy In
Life?" is one I chose myself. In todays modern environment
where everyone is racing after the Duniya matter [material
world], and are competing with each other in every possible
manner, have you ever wondered why there is still unhappiness in
your life?
The answer is so simple [and very obvious to many I am
sure!]
We are neglectful in our prayers & reading the precious
words of the Holy Quraan. Let me remind you, the
biggest reason why there is unhappiness in your household is
because you have been undutiful to Allah swt. You have been
ignorant to the commands of Allah swt and the satin has
misguided you. Forget the Quraan he shouts, forget the prayers,
time for the cinema, the high street fashion shops and time to
gossip.
Islam does not say that we can not enjoy life. Ofcourse we
want things in life, but its so essential to strike a balance
between deen and duniya. That balance is now becoming
incredibly difficult for many brothers and sisters who are
trapped in the wrath of the Shaitaan. [Satin].
My dear brothers, when did you read your prayers 5 times? My
dear sisters when did you open the Holy Quraan and understand
what you are reading? Do you know where the Quraan is in your
house? My dear sisters, when did you read the 5 prayers? When
are you going to start? Why do we keep on making weak excuses
like " I am not ready for it yet". Such a typical and weak
answer from many brothers and sisters of todays modernity.
Just a few days ago, I was in conversation with a muslim
colleague whos is a doctor. He was telling me: "This young guy
only 23yrs of age is on the ward. He is so witty, makes me laugh
- he is the favourite of all the nurses and doctors. Last
year he was working for a large multinational, with his dreams
and goals in front of him. Now, he's dying of renal
failure. Its very sad. We should be so so grateful for what we
have."
Just remember, a household in which the family are running
towards the duniya, are neglecting their prayers & Quraan; that
household will never be happy. I am sorry if I sound harsh, but
the reality of the situation had to be said. A household in
which there is no Ibaadat [worship] is a sinking ship. Return
back to Allah swt and His commands and realise the outcome.
Not only will you feel stronger and more better within your
heart, but your life will become much more easier. You will feel
as if the worlds burden has been taken off you. Thats the power
of the Prayer & the Quraan.. Subhanallah.
May Allah swt guide us in the path of the Quraan and Sunnah,
May Allah swt keep the Muslim Ummah united Ameen.
Truly brothers and sisters, each day as I assess the
muslims youngsters here in the

who are going on the wrong path. I shed a tear. It hurts
and its very worrying. The Muslim
ummah are truly becoming so weak and we are losing our identity
as followers of the Quraan and Sunnah.
Remember the Hadith :
Volume 8, Book 76, Number 435:
Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri:
Allah's Apostle said, "The thing I am afraid of most for your
sake, is the worldly blessings which Allah will bring forth to
you." It was said, "What are the blessings of this world?"
The Prophet said, "The pleasures of the world." A man said,
"Can the good bring forth evil?" The Prophet kept quiet for a
while till we thought that he was being inspired divinely. Then
he started removing the sweat from his forehead and said," Where
is the questioner?" That man said, "I (am present)." Abu Sa'id
added: We thanked the man when the result (of his question) was
such. The Prophet said, "Good never brings forth but good.
This wealth (of the world) is (like) green and sweet (fruit),
and all the vegetation which grows on the bank of
a stream either kills or nearly kills the animal that eats too
much of it, except the animal that eats the Khadira (a kind of
vegetation). Such an animal eats till its stomach is full and
then it faces the sun and starts ruminating and then it passes
out dung and urine and goes to eat again. This worldly wealth is
(like) sweet (fruit), and if a person earns it (the wealth) in a
legal way and spends it properly, then it is an excellent helper,
and whoever earns it in an illegal way, he
will be like the one who eats but is never satisfied."
