I have been recently informed that some people are chatting with the opposite sex who are non-Marham. This is strictly haram and there is no justification to this act. Yes my Deasi Friends: I did warn my family members and will continue to do so until this practice is stop. Seems as though shaytaan has found a new medium to get through to us Muslims. He does this so cleverly, by making us find good in our bad, and bad in our good. What better way, than to use an ISLAMIC internet chartroom or just have chat on aim, msn, etc., to get Muslim boys and girls talking about their wildest fantasies or just about Islam! All the time justifying to them by saying that it is an "Islamic" chartroom, so it is halal?

The main reason to reject this activity is due to addiction. We love to deny but it is most of all VERY ADDICTIVE. Especially for people who don't mix with the opposite sex regularly. Many muslin girls (who have strict fathers) sit in this chartroom almost every night, making up for not being able to freely talk to boys openly.

I feel a bit guilty about bringing this out, because although I always knew that this was not right I was also VERY addicted to it myself. I am just as much to blame. May Allah forgive my ignorance ... inshallah.

I feel though, that I am doing the right thing by publicizing this. It is important that Muslims are made AWARE of this as soon as possible.

Note that I'm not taking hits at anyone and only giving advise to those who are involved with this sin. If your involved in this act, stop it now. If your not involve, thank Allah and this advise will help you in the future.
