Glorified is He Who took His slave (Muhammad saw) for a journey by night from Masjid al haram
to masjid al aqsa.
BELOVED
Eden lost to your brood!
Prime sorrow among my sorrows:
In barricades embattled,
fighting with delirium
Others donate you their
lives, without doubts, without
gloom,
My dreams where to behold
you one day
Griefless the dusky eyes:
lofty the upright brow:
Unclouded, unburied,
unblemished, and unashamed!
For you, fair beloved! My fervent wishes, my constant
yearning,
Rest for the weary brain
and silence to my sorrow keen
Gives joy for sorrow and
honor for shame
And to heaven I pray The Almighty blessed
be
Rulers and masters shall
see
That I shall not rest till I see you smile,
inshaAllah
My beloved comes out like a queen of the ardent
zone
A white pearl from the mud redeemed
Return, as the birds return
When the flowers are in
bloom! Of celestial virtue give new
life
To your health! Cries the
soul,
O lovely; how lovely; to
fall that you may rise!
To perish that you may
live! To die beneath your skies!
And upon your enchanted
ground the eternities to sleep!
And on fine evenings, when
someone prays in my memory,
Pray also: O my beloved:
that in GOD I repose.
Pray for all those who have
fallen befriended by no fate:
For all who braved the
bearing of torments all bearing
past:
For our pitiful mothers,
piteously breathing forth
bitterness:
For orphans and widows: for
those in tortured captivity
And yourself-- pray to behold your redemption at
last.
