When Humankind Embraces Allah When Allah's help and victory come and you witness humankind embracing the religion of Allah in throngs, then celebrate the praises of your Lord and implore His forgiveness. Indeed He is the Most Forgiving. -Qur'an, An-Nasr, Surah 110:1-3

 

Your Pleas Have Been Heard You see throngs of afflicted feeble folk seated at the door in ardent hope. O you who are crushed, your pleas have been heard. Hark! Rush toward the mercy of God and be delivered of pain. -Rumi, "Mathnawi"

 

You Who Disbelieve Say, "You who disbelieve, I do not worship that which you venerate, nor do you worship whom I adore. I shall never invoke those whom you invoke, nor will you obey whom I revere. You have your religion, and I have mine." -Qur'an, Al-Kafirun, Surah 109:1-6

 

A Blessed Scripture  This is a blessed Scripture that We have revealed. So follow it and be righteous, that you may be shown mercy. -Qur'an, Al-An'am, 6:156

 

A Staff of Insight If you have no eyes, do not walk blindly; take a staff in your hand. If you have no staff of insight, do not walk without a guide. -Rumi, "Mathnawi"

 

Bow Down in Worship Establish worship, give alms, and bow your heads with those who bow down in worship. -Qur'an, Al-Baqara, Surah 2:43

Gift of Divine Benevolence Lord! Do not cause our hearts to go astray after You have guided us on the right path. Bestow upon us the gift of Your divine benevolence. You alone can confer true Grace. -Qur'an, Al-Imran, Surah 3:8

 

Be Ready to Receive Light If you wish for light, be ready to receive light. Nourish your ego and be deprived of light. If you wish to find a way out of this prison, do not turn away; bow down in worship and draw near. -Rumi, "Mathnawi"

 

Show Compassion to Your Fellow Creatures The Merciful is kind to those who are merciful. If you show compassion to your fellow creatures in this world, then those in heaven shall be compassionate toward you. -The Prophet Muhammad, as narrated by Abd'Allah bin Amr

 

God Has the Power God has the power to touch the heart of the sinner, to turn him away from his wicked ways. -Rabi'a, "Rabi'a the Mystic"

 

Restraining the Hands of Harm Believers, do not forget how Allah bestowed His favor upon you by restraining the hands of those who sought to harm you; so remain conscious of Allah, and depend only upon your Lord. -Qur'an, Al-Ma'idah, 5:11

 

The Most Upright Among You The most upright among you are those who carry themselves with the finest conduct. -The Prophet Muhammad, as reported by Abd'Allah bin Amr

Seek the Path That Leads to Him Believers, remain conscious of Allah and seek the path that leads to Him. Strive in His way that you may prosper. -Qur'an, Al-Ma'idah, 5:35

 

The Finest of the Finest The finest of the believers conduct themselves with honorable bearing. And the finest of the finest are those who treat their mates with affection. -The Prophet Muhammad, as reported by Abu Hurairah

 

Yet Still You Doubt It was He who created you from clay and decreed a term for you in this world and the next. Yet still you doubt. He is the only Lord of the heavens and the earth, completely aware of all that you conceal and all that you reveal. He knows what you deserve. -Qur'an, Al-An'am, Surah 6:2-3

 

Only the Pure Can Touch Praise the name of Your Lord, the Magnificent. I swear by the celestial constellations, a solemn oath if you but knew, that this Qur'an, is a glorious enlightenment, well-protected in the form of a Book, that only the pure can touch. It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. Would you then look down in contempt on a scripture such as this and make your daily living by rejecting it? -Qur'an, Al-Waqi'a, Surah 56:74-81

 

Modest and Noble He complained of his pain a hundredfold. God said, "Grief and pain make you modest and noble. Your real enemy is your own medicine, the elixir that seeks to win your heart. Flee from it to solitude and seek the help of God's grace. Your friends are really your enemies, for they occupy you and make you oblivious of God." -Rumi, "Mathnawi"

 

Far Better and More Enduring Whatever you are given is but for the enjoyment of life in this world, whereas that which is with God is far better and more enduring. -Qur'an, Ash-Shura, Surah 42:36

 

Experience True Bliss Those admitted to Paradise shall experience true bliss. Never shall they know want, nor will they suffer old age. -The Prophet Muhammad, as reported by Abu Hurairah

 

The Word of Your Lord The Word of your Lord is perfected in truth and justice. There is none that can change His words. He hears all and knows all. -Qur'an, Al-An'am, 6:116
