Most Remarkable Quality of a Woman

Sayyiduna Ali (RA) reports that once Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) asked the Sahabah (RA), “What is the most remarkable quality a women could possess? Sahabah (RA) remained silent, Hazrat Sayyiduna Ali (RA) quietly left the gathering and went home, where he posed the question to Fathima (RAH). She spontaneously replied, “ The most remarkable quality of a woman is that  na mahram* (strange) man do not glance at her and she does not glance at na mahram (strange) men. (Majmauz Zawaaid Vol 9 Pg 202).

*Na mahram – every such person with whom marriage is permissible according to Shariah.
