TELL AM I MAD?
 
IF I say 2 + 2 = 5 and 1=2, you will surely doubt my mental soundness,but it is so ?
 
 
And can prove these matematical riddle beyond any reasonable doubt .
 
 
2+2=5
 
 
Let us consider the following equations.
 
 
-20 = -20
 
 
16 - 36=25 - 45
 
 
Let 81/4 be added to both sides,
 
 
16 - 36 + 81/4=25 - 45 + 81/4
 
 
(4)2 - 2(4)(9/2) + (9/2)2 = (5)2 - 2(5)(9/2) + (9/2)2
 
 
As a2 - 2ab + b2 = (a-b)2
 
 
(4 - 9/2)2 = (5 - 9/2)2
 
 
By taking square root of both the sides, we get:
 
 
4 - 9/2 = 5 - 9/2
 
 
Adding 9/2 on both sides,
 
 
4 + 9/2 - 9/2 = 5 - 9/2 + 9/2
 
 
4=5
 
 
2+2=5
 
 
Is not It ????

we can write it as 12 - 12 = 1 - 1
 
 
As a2 - b2 = (a+b)(a-b)
 
 
(1+1)(1-1)=1-1
 
 
by dividing (1-1) on both sides
 
 
(1+1)(1-1) = (1-1)
 
 
(1-1) (1-1)
 
 
(1+1)=1
 
 
2=1
 
 
Hence proved now tell am I mad?
