"The women who passes away whilst her husband is
pleased with her will enter Jannah."

3. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said:
"Three persons are such their salaah is not
accepted nor does any good deed of theirs reach Allah Ta'ala, a runaway slave
till he returns to his master and obliges to him, a women whose husband is
angry with her (due to her disobedience), and a drunk person till he becomes

Commentary:
Much emphasis has been laid on the husband to play a leading role in a
marriage. However for continued peace and harmony the women also has a pivotal
role to play. The attitude, presentation and support the wife extends is
crucial. She is required to protect the wealth, property and assets and of her
husband which is a position of great authority and amanat (trust) accorded to
her by Shariah. She is also expected to safeguard the honour and respect of
her husband and be wholeheartedly honest and trustworthy. Mutual co-operation
and co-ordination will go a long way in maintaining love and harmony in a
marriage, something which is fast becoming scarce and much sought after.
