The Way for Unity in the Absence of the Khilafah is not to form a Representative Body but a Consultative Body

Introduction:

In fact, every Muslim is the voice, the eyes, the ears of the Muslims, he/she must defend Islam and Muslims, and therefore we are not needy for any official representative body i.e. we are not needy for MCB.

The way for unity for Muslims is not to form any official representative body for the community because will leads us to a disagreement, disputing and struggling for power beside miss-representation

Rather the way for unity in my opinion is to form a consultative body which open to every Muslim, will leads us insha'Allah for co-operation, agreement and understanding.

In the way for this consultative body we should understand the following:
1.  Our Aim and the Objective in this life
2.  Our Duties and responsibility
3.  The Problems facing The Muslims in Britain
4.  The solution of the problems
5.  The methodology of the solution of the problems
6.  General Advise

OUR AIM AND OBJECTIVE:
 Nothing in life is of greater importance to the creation than to seek the pleasure of the Creator (SWT). It is He (SWT) that created man from nothing and He (SWT) that command the utmost respect and worship in all our actions. As Allah (SWT) commanded:

"I have not created jinn and man except to worship Me." [EMQ 51:56]

Therefore the aim of Muslims is to please Allah (SWT). And we please Allah (SWT) by worshipping Him (SWT) and submitting to Him only.

OUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
And our worship of Allah is through fulfilling his commands and doing those duties made obligatory upon us. The criterion for worship is to abide by the commands of Allah (SWT) in all actions and solely Allah (SWT) defines these: "Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord. And Allah is aware of all things you do." [EMQ 33:2]

And He (SWT) also says: "Then We set you upon a way (Shari'ah) by which your purpose will be fulfilled: so follow this way and not the whims of those who have no knowledge." [EMQ 45:18].

Therefore the following of and full implementation of this Shari'ah is the greatest challenge facing Muslims, indeed without this application of Islam to life's affairs, we cannot say we are living by Islam. The sham of corruption characterised by the systems of disbelief, which are implemented throughout the world, must come to an end for us to achieve this noble goal. But as long as the Muslims stay silent the tyrants will continue to steal the authority to rule, which Allah (SWT) granted to the Ummah.

THE PROBLEMS FACING THE MUSLIMS IN BRITAIN:
The Muslims in Britain facing numerous problems such as:
1.  The domination of man-made law, which is in direct contradiction to God's law, which Muslims believe in and are, obliged to submit to.
2.  Identity crisis: e.g. British Muslims, Asian Muslims, African Muslims, Arab Muslims etc. rather we are Muslims in Britain trying to obey Allah (SWT) completely so that we preserve the uniqueness of our Islamic identity.
3.  Integration: Some Muslims i.e. MCB trying to mold Islam so that it can accommodate British culture in the hope that we will become 'integrated'.
4.  Disunity: because of the absence of political Unity i.e. Al-Khilafah and the absence of the way for unity i.e. co-operation in good deed among Muslims i.e. individuals and groups.
5.  The Western culture: Secularism, liberalism, freedom, democracy, drugs, promiscuity, pornography, alcohol, gambling, prostitution, homosexuality etc.  Which has invaded us through: The Media, TV, Radio, the Internet and the national curriculum which is full of racist views, false religious ideas and fabricated history e.g. the crusades, the Holocaust, Darwinism, besides free mixing and so-called sex-education.
6.  Struggle for leading the Muslims at any price even if its means reconciling Islam With non-Islam or attacking other Muslim or siding with governments such as that of Britain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt etc.
7.  Discrimination and Racism which emanates from man-made law
8.  Partisanship, Individualism, Pragmatism, Defeatism, Internal jealousy and envy
9.  The British foreign policy which is based on the principle of exploitation, colonisation, waging war against Muslims e.g. In Iraq, supporting the occupation of Muslim land financially and militarily such as the pirate state of Israel in Palestine, the Hindus in Kashmir and The Serbs in Bosnia and Kosovo.
10.  The luck of under understanding what Islam actually stands for. Islam has a comprehensive view point about life, man, universe i.e. Aqeedah from which emanates a complete system of life i.e. Shari'ah which regulates all of our affairs, whether they be political, economic, social, Judicial, rituals or international.
11.  Some sincere, active Muslims or group(s) engage themselves in secondary issues without linking them to the vital issues such as sovereignty for Allah and working to establish the Khilafah. Etc.

THE SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEMS:
The solution to our problems in Britain and worldwide can be summarised by understanding the reality of society and the solution i.e. Islam.

The reality of the meaning of society is: the continuous transactions between people (Muslim or non-Muslim) managed by an authority (i.e. rulers or state). Therefore if the transactions of the people become bad the Muslims must command them to do the good and to refrain from doing the evil. And if the actions of the authority (rulers, state dept's. etc.) become bad or if they fail to do their duties the Muslims must account them by ordering them to do the good and to refrain from doing the evil.

This comprehensive solution i.e. Islam manifest itself by:
1.  Calling Society to the Ideology (Deen) of Islam i.e. the Creed or the spiritual belief and System of life i.e. the Shari'ah or the political belief. That is meaning to carry Islam as an intellectual leadership to the society, Muslims and non-Muslims, by culturing the society.

2.  Challenging and exposing man-made law in society i.e. Al-Amer Bil-Ma'rouf: commanding society to do the duties (Al-Ma'rouf) which Allah (SWT) has ordered and Al-Nahie Ann Al-Munkar commanding society to refrain from doing the evil (Al-Munkar) which Allah (SWT) Forbids. One of the biggest evils is the domination of man-made law (Kufr) or any law not derived from the divine text i.e. the Quran and Sunnah.

3.  Bonding the Muslim community in the west with the Muslims globally in order to create an unbeatable bond within the Ummah and for them to be part of the preparations for the worldwide Islamic revolution.

THE METHODOLOGY OF THE SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEMS:
This can be achieved by following our Messenger Muhammad (SAW)'s commands, method, styles and means, because he (SAW) is our excellent example (Usswah Hasanah) to follow, this is the only way for us to gain success in this life and in the hereafter. We can summarise the method to fulfil the three duties by the following:

* Calling society to Islam (i.e. its belief and systems): This is done by engaging in Culturing society the way the Messenger (SAW) did in Makkah in order for it to embrace Islam as a Belief and system of life i.e. as an intellectual leadership or to accept the Islamic authority as a political system of life if they wish to keep their own belief. This involves addressing the masses belief and transactions through debates, seminars, study circles and conferences etc.
 
* Challenging and exposing man-made law in society: This is done by engaging with the society in an ideological struggle (which is composed of both intellectual and political struggle) by commanding (Al-Amer Bil-Ma'rouf) society to function in accordance with Islam and to reject (Al-Nahie Ann Al-Munkar) anything else the way the Messenger (SAW) did in Makkah. It involves addressing the non-Islamic way of life directly, challenging and exposing it, attacking the non-Islamic regime and the non-Islamic relationship between the people and between them and the State. This must address the problems which affect the interests of the people because of the corruption and the oppression of man-made law e.g. secularism, nationalism, racism, liberalism and their education, health, crime, social and housing problems etc. The style of the call must be radical, open, direct, clear, offensive, without ambiguity or compromise and without reservation or relaxation to the masses in the public places e.g. markets, parks, streets, colleges and universities, mosques, community centres and libraries etc.
 
* Establishing the Islamic authority (Al-Khilafah): This is done in conjunction with the above activities through motivating the people to rebel against the regime under which they are living, manifesting that by conferences and lectures to expose and condemn the regime and its systems and by demonstrations, marches, strikes, rallies and civil disobedience in addition to the military action of the Muslims in the army who had pledged their support beforehand in order to hand the authority to Muslims to appoint a leader (Khaleefah) to implement the whole of Islam immediately, comprehensively and exclusively.

The above stages will lead us Insha Allah to the accomplishment of the third duty i.e. the establishment of Al-Khilafah, whose foreign policy is to conquer the whole
 

GENERAL ADVICE:
The above forms the essential part of an Islamic solution to the problems, Muslims faces in Britain. Of course the bulk of these problems are to do with problems of the Ummah worldwide. When looking for a solution people usually want tangible and practical solutions. An Islamic solution does indeed bring about the correct practical outcome, but the outcome (which is in the hands of Allah (SAW)) cannot be achieved unless we strive for idea's that Allah commands. Thus the solutions for Ummah in Britain (that is part of the Ummah worldwide) are as follows:

* We must obey Allah (SWT) completely so that we preserve the uniqueness of our Islamic identity.
* We must not try to mold Islam so that it can accommodate British culture.
* We must understand that The problems of Muslims in Bosnia, Kashmir, Burma, Palestine, Kosova, America and everywhere else in the world are the problems of Muslims in Britain and vice, versa. All kinds of tribal nepotism and nationalistic fervor must be completely eradicated from the hearts and minds of Muslims living in Britain and worldwide.
* We must co-operate in good deeds
* We must let Islam i.e. Quran and Sunnah the only basis for our unity, vision and objective is one.
* We must acknowledge that the absence of Islam as a way of life (the absence of Khilafah) is the root cause of all our problems. The Muslims in Britain must spread this message amongst themselves and other Muslims in the world.
* We must not speculate on where or when the victory will come but pool all of our resources to achieve the victory to ultimately seek the pleasure of Allah.
* The very idea of a mosque for Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and Arabs is completely Haram. The role of the mosques in Britain is to open themselves to anyone who professes to believe in the Shahada and use the facilities and resources in the mosques to culture Muslims about the Deen of Islam.
* The Imams must teach the Muslims not only how to recite the Quran and prayer but the intellectual foundation of the Islamic Aqeedah, the fact that the Ummah is but one body, the fact that Jihad is an obligation and that calling non Muslims to Islam is an obligation and of course that Islam is a Deen not a religion.
* We must use mosques to culture the Muslims about Islam comprehensively, but especially the imams must take responsibility for this.
* We must interact with non-Muslims and bring them to the Aqeedah and culture of Islam. This is a responsibility of every Muslim.
* We must have united voice in Britain (and worldwide) about any issues that confronts the Muslims
* We enjoin good and forbid the evil in Britain. Muslims must enjoin good and forbid the evil wherever they are.
* We must offer Islam as a solution for the problems of humanity and society.
* We must being concerned with the issues of the Muslim Ummah through:
* We must Adopting the vital issues of the Muslims both nationally and internationally,
* We must Building bridges and co-operation between mosques, Islamic organisations and groups.
* We Building bridges and co-operation between the Muslim parents and the Muslim youth.
* We must address the problems facing us in the society all the means available to us.
* We must offering a practical solution and action plans for the problems facing us.
* We must Unite Muslims (Individuals & Groups) in the vital issues facing the Ummah.
* We must Defend the Muslim community in the UK
* We must Forming the whole community into a pressure group for the needs of humanity.

These objectives, needless to say, are motivated by the ultimate desire to please Allah (SWT). To end this article Allah (SAW) says:  "Allah does not change the condition of the people, unless they change what is in themselves".
